Jean Shelton, 80, resident of Middletown, passed away Oct. 28, 2020, at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Campton, Kentucky, the daughter of Hilliard Mort Barker and Fannie Smith Childers. She had been a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed bowling and the Red Hat Society. She was a member of the Mounds Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie; her parents; son, Stan Shelton; several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Donald Shelton (Debbie) of Mechanicsburg, Cathy Emswiller of Anderson, and Bob Shelton (Pam) of Jackson, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Kim Shelton of Pendleton; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Middletown Nursing Center for their great care.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31 at Miller Cemetery at 3 p.m.
