Biography

Vivian (Luce) Swanström was born on November 17, 1901 in Big Piney, Sublette Co, Wyoming. Her parents were Wilford Woodruff "Will" Luce, Jr. and Esseneth "Essie" (Wilson) Luce.

Vivian married Harry William Swanström on August 2, 1927 in Rawlins, WY, United States. Together they had the following children: Charles Edward Swanström; Harvey William Swanström; Jeanne Swanström; Harry Wallace Swanstrom.

She died on June 19, 1979 in Heber City, Wasatch Co, Utah and was buried in Eden Valley Cemetery, Farson, WY, United States.

VIVIAN SWANSTROM

Funeral services for Vivian Swanstrom were held Saturday, June 23, 1979, at the Eden Cemetery in Farson.

Mrs. Swanstrom, 77, of Heber City, Utah, died Tuesday, June 19, 1979, in the Heber City Hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1901 in Big Piney, Wyo., the daughter of Wilford Woodruff and Essie Wilson Luce. She was a graduate nurse of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.

She was married to Harry William Swanstrom Aug. 2, 1927, in Rawlins. He died Feb. 7, 1957. Mrs. Swanstrom was a member of the Methodist Church and had lived in Big Piney and Farson, Wyo., and Heber City, Utah.

Survivors include one son, Harry Wallace Swanstrom of Dallas, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Forrest (Betty Jo) Bigler of Heber City, Utah, and Mrs. Lawrence (Shirley Jean) Ferre of Roosevelt, Utah; three brothers, Frank Wilford Luce of Stockton, Calif., Edwin Wilson Luce of Rock Springs, and James Harvey Luce of Big Piney; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
