Walter Capron was a farmer and forgeman. During his Military Service he served as a private in Capt. Stephen Richardson's company at the Rhode Island Alarm. He also served as a private in the 2nd Mass. Regiment.
Walter Capron was born on 10/2/1693 in Swansea, Bristol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Banfield Capron and Elizabeth Callender. Walter Capron married Hope Whipple circa 1721 in Connecticut. Walter Capron married Hannah Wentworth on 28 October 1739 in Groton, New London, Connecticut. Walter died circa 1765 in Groton, New London, Connecticut.
