Wemigwans Kisheck

Wemigwans Kisheck is #004 on the 1907 Wooster Roll where he is identified as the son of Chief Charles Kisheck and kakekotok Kisheck. Only his traditional name Wemigwans is given. Wooster reports that Wemigwans means "small feather" but that translation needs scrutiny and comment by those who are expert in the Anishinaabemowin language and Potawatomi culture. As of 1907 Wemigwans Kisheck was living in Carter, Wisconsin where he held no rights in Canada.
