Der Schriftsteller Wilhelm Scheller wurde am 25. 6. 1940 von der Gestapo erkennungsdienstlich erfasst. Er wurde am 30. 11. 1940 in das KZ Dachau eingewiesen und von dort in der Folge in das KZ Buchenwald überstellt. Dort kam Wilhelm Scheller am 16. 4. 1941 um.

He worked at the Creditanstalt which is the same bank that my father Paul THORSCH and his older brother Fritz worked at. My Heritage gives his occupation as writer. He lived at Langackergasse 37 in the 19th District according to My Heritage. Will changed his name to SCHELLER in 1919. Permission given on 26 June. He married Antoinette Herner born Budapest in the Lutheran religion on the Landstrasse. He and Antoinette both lived in the Second District in Vienna according to the marriage record . Thanks to Frau Irma Wulz of the Jewish records office in Vienna for finding this record. Willi divorced Toni in June 1923 and she married Fritz THORSCH in the Jewish faith a few months later. Thanks to Traude Triebel for translation. Willi died in the Shoah at the Buchenwald concentration camp north of Berlin in 1941. He was prisoner number 2651.
