About William Epperson
Biography
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Epperson-55
William Epperson was born about 1675-1680, at sea.[1] He married about 1702, and had at least the following children.[1]
- John Apperson (1703-1737)
- Henry Apperson (1713- )[2]
- Elisabeth Apperson (1715- )[2]
- Sarah Apperson (1717-abt.1782)
- Francis Apperson (1718-abt.1806)
William "departed this life" on 8 Apr 1727 at St. Peter's Parish, New Kent, Virginia.[3]
(William Francis Epperson's and his siblings' surname changed and Anglicized -- probably because of the stigma of disgrace brought on by their grandfather Bernard, after he returned to France and recanted his Protestant beliefs, returning to the Catholic faith.)
