A Patriot of the American Revolution for VIRGINIA with the rank of PRIVATE. DAR Ancestor # A200937
William first appears along with his two sons Conley, and Obediah, in Floyd Co., KY in 1810. Which was later known as Pike Co., KY. William and his two sons were the first Blankenships found in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. William was about 49 years old at the time, and Conley was about 28 years old while Obediah was about 20 years old and married at the time. William and Obediah were in the first population Census of Pike County, KY, in 1830.
