All I know about him was he was born about 1755 and died before 1830. Husband of Sarah Fugate and Son of Benjamin "Flat Gap" Bolling and Martha Patsy Phelps

William (15) married Sarah Fugate (12) (born about 1760 in Shenandoah, Virginia Colony; daughter of John Fugate and Sarah (McCarty) Fugate) in 1773. Their children were:

• Louanna Lucinda Bowling (~1780–~1820)
• Sarah Bowling (~1794–~1850)
• George William Bowlin (1801–1863)

William died on January 8, 1838 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States, aged 80.≤ref name="Birth_1" />
