William Archiebold Bonnell

William A. Bonnell was born in Wisconsin to George and Rose Ella Bonnell. He appears in the June 1900 Antigo census as 11yrs, born 1988. He is in the 1919 Census with the name Willis. He died at the age of 72 on August 30, 1961. The day before his nephew Jerry Bonnell was electrocuted working on power lines in Antigo.

William married Annetta Hafner at St. John’s Catholic Church in Antigo Wi. They lived at 139 Fred Street Antigo, WI.  In 1940 census of William and Annetta there are 4 children, Ellen, Donald, Jack and Anita. In the 1930 census Jack is named John.  Annetta is buried in Antigo Queen of Peace cemetery. His son John’s obituary lists William’s childrens names.
