William Brown [Convict "Charlotte" 1788 died en-route]

William BROWN was born c1761

William was convicted of assault and robbery and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He left England on "Charlotte" but drowned when he fell overboard whilst hanging washing on 19 September 1787 in the South Atlantic enroute to Australia
