WILLIAM JAMES CARTER was born at 6 East Street, Stratford on June 1st 1877. He worked as a General Labourer and roadsweeper, living with his parents until he married at St Thomas Church, West Ham on February 23rd 1902 to JANE ELIZABETH MADEL. She was born at 26, Langthorne Street, Stratford on July 23rd 1879, and had worked as a domestic servant until her marriage. In 1901 she was boarding with Williams family at 4, Channelsea Road, Stratford. 1911 - living with spouse and three children at 42 New Street, Stratford, London - General Labourer
