Biography ==William Coggeshall, son of Major John and Elizabeth Baulston Coggeshall, was born 1654 in Portsmouth, RI and died 1696 in Bristol, RI. He was an infant when his parents divorced in 1655. In the will of his father he was disinherited, however, he had been given his Grandfather William Baulston's farm with his brother. <ref>Throckmorton Family History, Frances Grimes Sitherwood, 1930 pages 55-56 https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=wu.89066029471;view=1up;seq=40</ref> He later went on to serve as Deputy to the General Assembly in Providence in 30 JAN 1690/91.
