WILLIAM B. EREKSON
William Benbow (Will) Erekson died Friday July 27, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born February 2, 1938 in Murray, Utah to William Shirley and Jennie Wright Erekson.
He graduated from Jordan High School and attended the Brigham Young University where he suggested the winning name of "Helaman Halls" for the mens dormitories. He was a member of the KIA Ora Club. He was employed for a number of years at Auerbach Co. in Salt Lake City, also by Western Airlines in Los Angeles. He later was employed at the University of Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church having served a mission in the British mission where he had the association with a number of outstanding companions.
In June, 1989, he was in an automobile roll-over and since that time has suffered greatly from injuries sustained.
Survived by his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Newell K. (Shirley) Garff; Mrs. Ardis E. MacFarlane; and Mrs. W. Bruce (Elaine) Woodruff, all Salt Lake City; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Tuesday, July 31, 1990, at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. ant Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
