Served in American Revolutionary War with Chatham County Militia in Capt. Isaiah Hogan's Company, Gee's company of Second Regiment. Taken prisoner during battle of Ft. Sullivan SC 6-1-1779. Served in Lytles Company 10th Regiment, NC in 1781.
