William David Hamlett

William David Hamlett, born October 15, 1868 near Nelly's Ford, Virginia. Died September 18, 1885 near Hay Springs, Nebraska. He is buried in Mirage Flats Cemetery 12 miles south and 2 miles southwest of Hay Springs. He married Lottie Wilson ( a school teacher ) of Sheridan County, Nebraska on February 20, 1892. Soon after their marriage, Will and Lottie went to Hot Springs, South Dakota, where he was employed in the Railroad yards. Will contracted mountain fever a died a short time later at his parents home. They had no children.
