A copy was sent to me 4-99 from a Knight cousin, Nathan Knight, 267 Ragland Rd., Cottontown, TN 37048-4714 (Nashville). Gives Francis as father of Garland Hester. Francis born VA, died 1812, Granville Co, NC, son of William Hester. Wife of Francis was Mildred Unknown, who died in Granville Co, NC after 1812. William's wife was Mary Unknown, who left a will dated 1807 in Stokes Co, NC. William Hester's parents were Robert Hester, 1686, New Kent Co, VA, died 1748 Louisa Co, VA, and Rachel McAlister. Robert's father was Francis Hester, ca 1665 - 1720, New Kent Co, VA, and Unknown (?Garland?).
