William Luther Nolen

Luther William Nolen was born at Rock Springs, Wyoming during his parents trip by covered wagon from Arkansas.

He married Beulah Amanda Gentry born Sep. 19, 1894 Wilbur, Lincoln County. WA, dead Dec. 5, 1966 Klamath Falls OR. Beulah Gentry was born to James William Genry (1861 - 1925) and Belle Zera Crockett (1872 - 1951). She is buried in Burial: Klamath Memorial Park.

He died in 1919 in a boiler explosion in Oregon City, and his son, William Luther Nolen Jr, (1919 - 1984) was only 2 months old at that time.

Beulah Nolen met John Gardner (1892 - 1974) in Ontario, Oregon where he and his partner Omey Dyer, were doing concrete construction work for Stone Inc. John Gardner and Beulah were married in Bandon, Oregon and moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1923 with Willian and their baby Marjorie. John worked in construction so they moved around a lot. Their daughter Nelle Gardner was born in Yreka, California in 1924. They had two more children: Marjorie Jean Gardner Wood (1923 - 1995) and Nelle Gardner Garrett (1924 - 2007)
