William Lye of the town of Colonie died yesterday morning at Samaritan Hospital, Troy after a three week illness. Born in Colonie, he resided in the town for about 40 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and director of the Market Growers association. He was a member of Niskayuna Reformed church. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Ann Lye, three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Hillard of Colonie, Mrs. Floyd Smith of Amsterdam, N.Y. and Mrs. Fred Garlick of Tewksbury, Mass, one son Earl A. Lye of Tewksbury, Mass, two brothers George and Alfred Lye both of Colonie and one sister Mrs. Harvey Teagle of Niskayuna, and four grandchildren, Mrs. John Faddegon and William Hillard of Colonie and Melvin Garlick and Earl A. Lye Jr. of Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Sat. at 2 p.m. at Baxter’s Funeral Parlors. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.

TEWKSBURY; Two Tewksbury residents are beneficiaries under the will of the late William Lye of Colonie N. Y. According to the terms of the will Mrs. Anne E Lye of Colonie receives the bulk of of her husband's estate who died Jan 29. She is to receive a trust fund plus an outright bequest. On the death of Mrs Lye one-half of the trust fund goes to a son Earl Lye of Tewksbury and the rest will be divided among threedaughters Mrs. Beatrice Garlick Tewksbury, Mrs. Eva H. Hillard of Colonie, and Mrs. Esther M. Smith of Amsterdam N Y
