William Frank Meadows

William Buzz Meadows, of Rt. 3, Elkton, died at his home Monday, September 5, of a heart attack. He retired in August 1964 from American Viscose Corporation in Front Royal, where he had worked twenty years.

Born in Page County he was the son of the late Hiram F. and Margaret Hirt Meadows.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Reda Rinaca Meadows; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond N. Rimel, of Elkton; Mrs. M. Leroy Means, of Harrisonburg, and Mrs. Ronald M. McCoy, of Macon, Ga.; two sons, Carroll J. Meadows and Garland F. Meadows, both of Elkton, seven grandchildren; one great grand-daughter; three brothers, Alfred Meadows, S.V. Meadows, and D.V. Meadows, all of Elkton; and a half-sister, Mrs. Virgie Jewell, of Luray.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Jollette Methodist Church by the Rev. E.C. Smith. Burial took place in the East Lawn Memorial Gardens.
