"(261) William Moray of Abercairny, died May 1642. He was appointed tutor to Jean, daughter of Rev. John Moray 4th March 1633. He married, contract dated 8th February 1636, Ann, daughter of George Hay of Keillor, and had issue: -

• Captain George Moray, died s.p. Will recorded 10th August 1688 (Edinburgh)."
