22 July 1513: Charter by which Jonet Rommanos of that Ik, with the consent of her husband, William Murray, confirms that she has sold the lands of Culrop in the sheriffdom of Peebles to John Murray of Blackbarony and his wife Isobelle Hoppare. Biographical Summary

"(308) William Murray of Schilinglaw, probably second son of John (No. 276 above). He had a charter of Erlisorchard 4th January 1508-09, and left two sons:-

• William (No. 309 below).
• Alexander Murray, to whom his brother sold Erlisorchard in 1527."

"(310) William Murray of Romanno, living 1558. He married Jonet, daughter and heiress of John Romanno of that Ilk, who died before 1558. They had issue: -

• John Murray, living 1545 (Criminal Trials).
• James Murray. Married Isobel Russell, and died before 1558.
