John Murray of Fallowhill died before 1 October 1510, the date upon which his son Patrick Murray of Fallahill as heir to his deceased father, had a charter for the lands of Braidmedows in the sheriffdom of Selkirk. RMS 1424-1513: charter number 3506

17 September 1502: Charter under the Great Seal of Scotland by which James IV, King of Scots, confirms that he has given the lands of Battis, Haddirlie, le Kingiscroft, and other lands in the burgh of Selkirk, to Johanni Murray, son and apparent heir of Johannis Murray de Fawlohill. RMS: 2674
