William Perrine

William Perrine was b. Nov. 28, 1743 in South Amboy, Middlesex Co., New Jersey.

He married, on Nov. 12,1762 in Monmouth Co., New Jersey, with HANNAH MOUNT, dau. of George Mount. She was b. Feb. 11,1749, of Hightstown, Mercer Co., New Jersey.

They had 15 children. He d. Sept. 28,1820 in Cranbury, New Jersey; she d. there Apr. 8,1824. She is buried at 1st Presbyterian Churchyard, Cranbury,Middlesex Co., New Jersey.

William was born in 1742/43, the son of Peter Perrine and Margaret Dey. He married Hannah (a.k.a. Ann) Mount. He is referred to as a Revolutionary War soldier.

William and Hannah had 15 children together, as follows:

• 9. John Mount, born 20 June 1779, died 1844;
• 10. Margaret Mount, born 11 Oct. 1781, died 7 Jan. 1862, married Gen. James Cook in 1800 (both buried here)--linked below;

Note: The Perrine genealogy gives his birth date as 28 Nov. 1743; however, his gravestone says he died in his 78th year.
