Jacob Reese was born June 20, 1814; his wife, May 22, 1820. The Reese family are supposed to be descended from Hollanders. The Phelps are of Yankeestock. Both families emigrated West many years ago and were among the first settlers in Summit Co. Here Nicholas died.....
