About William Warner Pritchett
(Nota Bene: 8 Apr 2014... dfc)
William Warner Pritchett disconnected from parents William Edward Pritchett and Ann Waller because we simply don't have any evidence to prove the relationship based on any existing records we are able to find - and because there are some very good reasons it probably isn't likely... They are:
Father : Thomas Pritchett born 1698 and died in 1722. He lived 24 years Mother: Ann Waller, born 1742, died 1790. She lived 48 years Problem: Ann Waller was born 20 years after her husband died. Impossible.
If Thomas Pritchett was the father of William Edward Pritchett: William Edward Pritchett must have been born before father’s death in 1722. William Edward Pritchett died in 1823. At a minimum, he would have been 101 years old. Very unlikely. William Edward Pritchett married someone 25 years his junior in 1771. Maybe. William Edward Pritchett and Mary Penn waited 27 years after their marriage to have Richard Pritchett and 30 years to have William Warner Pritchett. Unlikely.
Mary Penn died at the age of 53. Somewhat old to give birth. Very unlikely. Mary Penn died 1 year before the birth of her son William Warner Pritchett in 1801. Impossible. William Edward Pritchett would have been 79 years old at the birth of William Warner Pritchett. Unlikely. Mary Penn would have been 50 at the birth of Richard Pritchett.
