William Walter Reynolds Soper

William was born around the year 1867, in Exeter. His mother was Louisa Reynolds, who was a 20 year old unmarried woman. It is not known who William's biological father was. When William was three years old, his mother married William Henry Soper. William was adopted by his step-father and took the surname "Soper." No birth record has been found for him, so it is not known what surname he was born under. It is possible that William Henry Soper was William's biological father, but there is some doubt because William Henry would have only been 17 when William Walter was born. Regardless, William Walter was raised by William Henry as his son from 1870 onwards.
