10 September 1712: Testament Dative and Inventar of the estate of the late George Stirling of Herbertshire, in the parish of Dunipace, given up by his son, William Stirling of Herbertshire, executor dative qua nearest of kin decerned to him by decreet of James Russal, commissary depute of Stirling. 30 November 1747: Extract from the Books of Council and Session of Disposition by Captain John Stirling of Herbertshire, heir in special cum beneficio inventarii served, retoured and infeft in the lands and estate of Herbertshire to the deceased William Stirling of Herbertshire, his brother, whereby, in implement of his brother's obligation contained in disposition and assignation (dated 21 November 1743 and registered in the Books of Council and Session 30th May 1745) granted to John Campbell, cashier of the Royal Bank of Scotland, and in corroboration and fortification of the said disposition, he disponed to Campbell the teinds, both parsonage and vicarage, of all lands in the parish of Denny, barony of South Herbertshire and sheriffdom of Stirling: with procuratory of resignation and precept of sasine. At Herbertshire 30th November 1747. Witnesses, John Philp, tenant in Headswood, and George Graham, servant to the granter. Registered 26 January 1748. Certified by William Hall.
