William gave one shilling and farthing each to "son James Taite, daughter Mary Jefers, son John Taite, and son Thomas Taite." Son Nathaniel also received a heifer. And wife Sarah, "the plantation whereon I now live, a heifer at her death to my son William." To 3 minor sons Nathaniel, Samuel, and Jesse, "my entry of land to be equally divided. To daughter Sarah Taite, five pounds and the rest of my estate to Nathaniel, Samuel, and Jesse, daughters Sarah and Elizabeth after my wife's death." His wife was the executor, and the witnesses were Mathew Tanner and Rebecca Hawkins.
