Conflicting wife information

On page 277 of Early Times in Clinton County, Vol. 1 by Jack Ferguson, there is some conflicting data on the wives of William 'Billy' Thrasher Jr.

His last wife, Elizabeth (Feldkins) Thrasher; in an affidavit for a service pension on 8/14/1879 claimed she only knew of 2 other wives that proceeded her. She claimed his first wife was Elizabeth, and second wife was Sally.

A Mrs. Nell (Jones) Brown asserts that Rachel Baker was Isaac Baker Thrashers first wife.

This seems to be the only source of information on Rachel Baker.

Another person quoted in the same paragraph, Mrs. Alyne Matthews claims that she only knew of the last three wives.

I cannot find any records of Rachel besides Mrs. Brown's information.

They had William Jr. with 4 wifes; Rachel Baker, Elizabeth Kennedy, Sally ?, & Elizabeth Felkins.

Rachel & William had Issac Baker 1805=1889.

Elizabeth and William had Samuel J. 1809; Rachel 1813=1852; Elizabeth 1818.

Sally and William having Hardin 1826; Mary Ann 1828=1908; Allen1834=1909.

No children for Elizabeth and William.

They have that Samuel Jackson md Judy Jones 1812=? and their children: Davidson 1832; Francis1834; Sarah 1836 & 2 with no names. Davidson children were: James 1852; Jack1855=1929; George Alvis 1856=1942; Mary A. 1858; Willie R.1859 & 4more with no names. Hope this helps.
