Re: Edward Welborn b. 1680 MD? Posted: 19 Oct 2011 11:12AM [ BY XXChemteach60 ] A reminder--there has been no documentation found for the exact date of death of William Wellborn who married Anne Crabtree. We know the approximate date of death of Edward, his father--due to the will we know he died between 24 June 1730--date it was signed and 8 September 1730, date of the administrative bond for the will. The last record of William [wife Anne Crabtree] is in Rowan County, NC and can only speculate as to date of death and where buried. Most likely buried near home place, wherever that was among the property. .
Edward's daughter Elizabeth married Isaac Wood, son Thomas married Margaret and son William married Ann Crabtree--marriage in St. George's Register, Baltimore County, MD. As mentioned above, Anne married John Ryan. .
NOTE--Edward and Elizabeth's children migrated into the Piedmont section of NC by 1754.
