The Earl of Mornington's demise took place at the family mansion in Grosvernor square, on the 1st March. The deceased nobleman, William Wellesley Pole, third Earl of Mornington, Viscount Wellesley, and Baron Maryborough, was brother to the Duke of Wellington and Lord Cowley. He is succeeded by William Wellesley Pole, who married 14th March, 1812, Catherine, only daughter and heiress of the late Sir James Tylney Long, Baronet, upon which occasion he assumed the names of Tylney and Long.
