William (the Younger) le Prouz, of Eastervale

Sir William caused a lot of confusion when he named two sons William. They are forever getting mixed up with each other, and William the younger with a son, nephew, etc.

William the Younger seems to have married quite late - perhaps it took him that long to establish himself.

There is even some question as to whether this should be the William Prouse who was the son of Richard.

William was our ancestor through three distinct descent lines--through his sons William and UNKNOWN and through his daughter Alice, each of whom was independently our ancestor.
