REDDING - Services for Winfield Byron Comin, 83, of Redding will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Methodist Church in Anderson.
The Rev. Art Catterall of the church will officiate.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Anderson's Chapel in Anderson.
Burial will be at the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens in Cheyenne, Wyo.
Mr. Comin died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1996, at his residence.
Born April 9, 1913, in Denver, he moved to Shasta County in 1985 from Cheyenne.
He was a retired oil refinery worker for Husky Refining Co. in Cheyenne, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows in Cheyenne, Anderson Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion in Cheyenne, American Association of Retired Persons and Trinity United Methodist Church in Anderson. He also sang in the church choir.
Survivors include wife Marrion; sons Byron of Muskegon, Mich., and Larry of San Antonio, Texas; stepsons Donald Stout of Cottonwood, Wayne Stout of Anderson and Jerry Stout of Vale, Ore.; daughters Valera Comin of Denver and Verda Comin of Redding; brother Kenneth of Fort Collins, Colo.; sisters Lois Hettinger of Winsor, Colo., Irene Thompson of Cottonwood, Marian Lewis of Cheyenne and Nadine Tison of Granton, Wis.; and three grandchildren.
