She and Jesse Lane had 16 children: Charles (b. 2 Oct 1756),Richard (9 Feb 1759), Henry (28 may 1760), Caroline (26 May 1761), Rhoda (21 May 1763), Patience (6 may 1765), Jonathan (3 Apr 1767), John (25 Dec 1769), Simeon (10 Mar 1771), Rebecca (5 Mar 1773), Joseph (28 Mar 1775), Mary Jane "Polly" (18 Jan 1777), Sarah "Sallie" (18 Jan 1777), Winifred (11 Oct 1780), Jesse (12 Jun 1782), all born in Wake, NC and Elizabeth (6 Sep 1786) born in Wilkes, GA.
Winifred died at age 53 in Athens, Clark Co, GA 16 Dec 1794 and was buried in Jackson Street Cemetery, Athens, Clark Co, GA.
