Wyman Raber MILLERSBURG -- Wyman H. Raber, 94, 4383 State Route 39, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at his home after a brief illness. Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with minister Ivan Yoder officiating. Burial will be at Raber Cemetery, Holmes County, Berlin Township. Friends may call anytime today (Wednesday) after 1 and all day Thursday at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Geib Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. He was born Sept. 23, 1908, in Holmes County to Henry and Lovina (Troyer) Raber and married Amanda Troyer. She died previously. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Surviving are children, Eli (Gladys) Raber of Sugarcreek, Daniel (Mary Alice) Raber of Topeka, Ind., Freeman (Melva) Raber of Wooster, Henry (Clara) Raber, Owen (Anna) Raber and Junior (Jennie) Raber, all of Dundee, Arie (Arleigh) Schlabach, Ida (Andy) Miller and Ada Raber, all of Millersburg and Lizzie (Robert) Wengerd of Fredericksburg; 36 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel (Emma) Raber, a widowed sister, Sarah Troyer and a brother-in-law, Samuel Hershberger, all of Millersburg. In addition to his wife, a daughter, Esta Raber, his parents and sisters, Emma, Ida and Elva, died previously.
