Rabbi Yaacov Betzalel was a Torah prodigy. His father Rabbi Pinchas died before YaacovB was six years old, and he was raised by his elder brother Isaac Feigon. YaacovB was teacher for 50 years, wrote 2 books: a well-known religious commentary, "Shoshanat Yaacov", and "Halachot Psukot", a "shut" - answers from Jewish Law. He emigrated to Jerusalem on December 1907 and wrote letters to his family in Belogorodka. Some of these letters are now (2010) a unique treasure, and tells a lot about the past. Around 1909 he returned to Belogorodka. his books are available:
