About Yetta Zelmanowitz (Feierverger) (nee Weider)
Not a nice person. That's best thing I can say about her. I need to post this. But am sure I'll remove it in the future.
My paternal grandfather divorced her and left . . . he married again and was happy!!
She married again to Rabbi Zelmanowitz, and they lived in Chicago.
When visiting Israel, he died, and his children made sure he's buried there next to their mother, which is what he wanted.
Rabbi Zelmanowitz was a kind and gentle man and his children were fabulous, too. His grandson, Abe, died on 9/11 when staying with his wheelchair-bound friend, Ed. Abe was buried in Israel. Please remember him and his courage.
My father's mother lived to bury all 3 of her children.
