About Yvo Alan Charteris
2nd Lt. The Hon. Yvo Alan Charteris, Grenadier Guards, attd. 1st Bn (Special Reserve). Son of the 11th Earl of Wemyss and Countess of Wemyss. Killed on October 17, 1915 during the attack on the Hohenzollern Redoubt. His eldest brother Capt. Hugo Francis Charteris, Gloucestershire Hussars was also killed in the Great War in April of 1916
