Zachariah Brackett

Zachariah son of Capt. Anthony and Susannah (Drake)Brackett. All the children of Zachariah were baptized on 2 Aug 1719. Zachariah m. 1st, in Newbury, MA, 1 Dec. 1707, Hannah Rolfe. She was still living in Deering, NH in 1736 and was the mother of nine children. He then m. 2nd, intentions 16 Feb. 1741, Mary Ross from Ireland; her estate was administered in 1793. By her, he had two more daughters. Zachariah Brackett moved from Hampton, NH to Deering, NH, 1719, where he lived until about 1741. He then moved to Ipswich, MA where he died. Administration of his estate occurred October 1755. • PLEASE NOTE: Zachariah Brackett's first wife was Hannah Rolfe, not Hannah Libby as has sometimes been claimed.
