Zerviah Standish was born after 8 January 1707 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts to Ebenezer Standish (1673-1755) and Hannah Sturtevant (1680-1759). She was the great granddaughter of Myles Standish (c. 1584-1656), Mayflower Passenger.

She married Andrew Ring (1696-1744) on 20 May 1724 in Plympton, Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Mary Ring born 28 February 1725 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. She married Joseph Johnson 20 April 1742 in Yarmouth, Cumberland, Massachusetts (not Maine until 1820). She died in 1808 in Yarmouth, Cumberland, Maine, USA. Thomas Ring born after 1725. Andrew Ring, Jr. born 14 September 1727 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. He died on 13 September 1729. Susanna Ring born 3 June 1730 in Kingston, Plymouth, Massachusetts. She died 19 September 1825 in Falmouth, Cumberland, Maine. She was probably married to Joseph York (b. 1728) who was a ship's captain out of Boston, Massachusetts. Hannah Ring born 10 January 1733. William Ring born 7 August 1735.
