Zerviah Wood

During the Revolutionary War (U.S.), the British reportedly burned the house of Zerviah Wood, Sr., probably at or near 110 Adams Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts, about where Linden Avenue now comes into Adams Street. He was apparently a Quaker and most likely buried in Fairhaven's old Quaker Burying Ground. "Sadly, this burying ground did not contain proper records or markers and was later covered over by the city with additional dirt to make maintenance easier. This makes any identification of burial locations for these Quakers impossible." [All this information is subject to confirmation].
