a puzzling baptism recorded in the Dutch Church registers:

1646 Feb 25; Emanuel Van Angola; (no name recorded); Large Anna

... and who is Large Anna? &-> Why is her name recorded in English?

Also this is altogether entirely a guess as the father may be someone else with a similar name. That is, Emanuel Van Angola and Manuel may not be the same man. (!)

Could "no name recorded" be the father at: 1672 Feb 03; Swaen van Angola, Annetie Abrahams; Annatje; Claes Manuel, Larie

His "brother" Claes Manues stands as a witness... ??
