This profile exists because known Baird descendants (linked via DNA) have been discovered that are descended from the Rosboroughs in County Londonderry. It's not clear exactly where these lineages intersect but they do, according to DNA. Other Baird descendants from this Baird family wound up in County Down and in Scotland, eventually to go to Utah and help carve out the Mormon state there. I have therefore created this placeholder to help explain the DNA relationships found.
