Assigned to duty guarding R. R. at Tunnel Hill, Moon Station, Big Shanty, Marietta and Kenesaw Mountain till November. March to the sea November 15-December 10. Siege of Savannah December 10-21. Consolidated with 53d Illinois Infantry December 23, 1864.

Regiment lost during service 8 Officers and 107 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 3 Officers and 107 Enlisted men by disease. Total 225.
