It has been started for people of Australia looking for European ancestors and other Australian geni-users who can share there information about how to find your relatives in a country where distances are to long to walk, step or bike, archives are to far to ride and planes to ool-spending to use for a hike....

But also a lot of European geni-users lost profiles in their ancestry when their grand-mothers-&-or-fathers decided to leave their birth-places and took their children to get boats & planes to explore new territories.
