This was the burial site for the First Baptist Church starting about 1859. January 28, 1859, is the first burial listed, Jul 31, 1984, is the last burial listed. In about 1974, the church deeded the cemetery over to an association. It has been owned and maintained by a board under the Bedias Cemetery Association since that time.
In Bedias, Grimes County, Texas, at the Intersection of Route 1696 and Route 2620, continue SE for about 1/4 miles. The cemetery is on the right or south side of road.
