The Big Rock cemetery is located about 23 miles northwest of Davenport, on 31676 37th Avenue, Big Rock, Scott County, Iowa. Take Route 130 northwest out of Davenport. Drive through Maysville to Plain View. Turn right (north) in Plain View (only one crossroads) towards Dixon. Proceed five miles into Dixon to the T at the bottom of the hill (stop sign). Turn left (westerly) for a couple blocks and bear right as you leave town. This will take you to Big Rock (three miles). The first left almost immediately upon coming into Big Rock will take you up a hill (gravel road) to a cemetery on the right hand side of the road (a couple miles). It is also known as Old Liberty Cemetery.
