The history of the Cajucom Family of Nueva Ecija

The first Cajucoms of Nueva Ecija came from the Town of Baliwag, Bulacan and settled in Sumacab and Talipapa. The same family was instrumental in the creation of the Town of Cabanatuan.

According to the Late Macario Cajucom, His grandfather, Domingo Cajucom had relayed this important historical narrative of the Cajucom Family.

According to the late Domingo Cajucom, their family was made up of 3 boys and 2 girls, namely Ramon, Domingo (himself) and Emilio. the two girls died at an early age, however the name can no longer be recalled.

Ramon, the eldest of the brood, married a lady from Talipapa and had 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls. These are Juan, Pedro, Isabelo, Paulina, Hilarion, Paterno Espiridiona and Simeon. Juan and Isabelo got married and settled in Aliaga, Nueva Ecija. Pedro got married and settled in Bongabon and Espiridiona got married and settled in Jaen. Hilarion and Paterno never left Sumacab. Paulina got married to Benito Sta Romana while Simeon, although got married left Sumacab and was not known where he settled.

Domingo got married to Maxima Joson of Sumacab. They had 7 children namely Francisco, Julian, Santiago, Fabiana, Pascual , Victor and Lorenzo.

Emilio, the youngest got married to Juana Mendoza and had 4 children, namely Maximo, Anacleta, Florentina and Veronica.

The Cajucoms of Nueva Ecija, especially from the towns of Aliaga, Bongabon, Cabanatuan, Sta Rosa and Jaen are all related. Along these lines are prominent Citizens who became leaders in their own community. One notable Descendant is Felino Cajucom who became a Governor of Nueva Ecija in the 1900's.
