The Carson Cemetery is located on US Highway 59, one mile east of the town of Carson, in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Ten acres of ground was donated to the town of Carson by Alva Burton, in the late 1800's for the Carson Cemetery. Some of the stones have been re-located to the Carson Cemetery from the Pioneer Cemetery in Macedonia Township. This accounts for some dates older than the 1880's.
