The barque Catharina, 350 tons, Captain Peter Schacht, Hamburg 21st September 1838, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 22nd January 1839.
The Catharina / Katharina was a barque of 350 tons, built at Kiel in 1810
The Catharina Group - January 1839 The last of the initial wave of immigrants arrived in January 1839, on the Catharina. This group settled predominantly at Glen Osmond.
